Hale Carnival Committee

The committee consists of a fantastic

group of enthusiastic volunteers who throughout the year plan and implement fundraising event leading up to putting

on an amazing event for the local community.

The Hale Carnival and fete are held annually on the first Saturday in July from 2pm until 10pm. It is held on the Hale Recreation Ground, off Upper Hale Road, Farnham, Surrey.


The objectives of the Carnival Committee are:


  1. Hold the annual Carnival event


  2. Raise enough funds to cover the costs of the

      carnival and donate to local charities and

      other good causes all we can.


  3. HAVE FUN !! while doing what we do, and

       provide superb entertainment for our local



We have plenty going on all the time and we are always looking for helping hands either at our events or on carnival weekend. Carnival Committee News -

Hale Carnival Committee has donated £7,000 proceeds from the Hale Carnival held on the 4th July 2015.

The Hale Community Time Capsule – organized by Geoff and the

History of Hale Project.

The Carnival Committee were delighted to attend and be part of the ‘Planting of the Time Capsule’ for the community in the Village Hall. Memorabilia of the carnival event have been placed in the capsule,

which will be opened in the year 2097, to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the village hall.
